Bethesda themselves said back in Oblivion they were not going to patch harmless glitches and exploits out of their games unless they had a direct negative impact on the game. Letting the player make themselves OP was not game-breaking in their view, so that means no one else on the planet can make that call. They patched out one method of doing the duplication glitch because it did interfere with some DLC quest, but left the other method in because it did not.
I don't care that they "corrected a math error" or however they claim to justify it. Those exploits have no direct impact on any other aspect of the game and are entirely optional - you have to do them on purpose and they cannot be triggered accidentally. The ability to choose for yourself whether or not to do them was removed with the Unofficial patch, and that's just being a Puritanical dooshbag.
I'm surprised the patch didn't disable controller support so everyone had to use a mouse and keyboard. Then again, I'm sure they're working hard on it for the next version, and will implement it in the first patch for TES 6.
The mod does exactly what it says. Some may disagree but they are very transparent about it.

New Players : You must install the Unofficial Skyrim Patches by Nazenn - http://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/613956964579064476/
Although this was written for original Skyrim, the basic principles apply to SSE as well.
If you refuse to install the patch, then there is little anyone can do to help, and further efforts to do so are pointless, as so many solutions to problems rely upon it.
Indeed, patching out non-gamebreaking exploits that benefit the player is something only the developer or publisher should do (and I'm no fan of exploits). Mods patching them out It is as retarded as the mods that patch out the console command (may as well just have someone come by to hit you every time you use them). It actually sucks that so many mods are dependent on those unofficial patches now, even if sometimes understandable.
If you don't want to use a non-gamebreaking exploit in a SP game, you already have the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ option of not using it. One shouldn't have to download an extra mod just to revive an exploit that one mod removed. Instead, there should be separate packages for unofficial patches.
Regarding your edit, there would be hundreds of usseps. ♥♥♥♥ that. You get ussep, you get a glitch re-enabler. No need to dig through thousands of files to find the one that matches what you want on/off.
QUIT THE DRAMA as for separate packages any idea how much work goes in that mod and that they do that in their spare time?
Yeah, just ignore the part where I said I'm no fan of exploits in the first place. Dumbass.
