Don't like the new interface, contact Valve directly.

And for those who may say that contacting them directly won't work, well that's exactly how I got my pinned topics to be pinned.

Provided because posting complaints in a thread or on the forums, will accomplish absolutely nothing. The companies need to get the complaints DIRECTLY!

Contacting Valve will solve anything? Can Valve(steam) agree to not push update? I don't know how updates work since the question.

Valve can provide an option to never update - unlike the always update options that are the only ones available now.

or at least thousands of phone calls so that their phone system is tied up and they can't conduct business - and tons of mail so that their mailroom is overloaded.

They used to provide it and they removed it.

And this is the what so many companies do, they give the appearance of having options - but they are all really just the same option, while they do away with the options that people really want.

Could be. Though the biggest joke is the one that no one knows is a joke - until it's too late.

And then the joke's on us.

The best way tyo contact them is through fax, if possible. Toner is expensive, and each fax uses up paper, as well. The more it costs them, the more likely it is that they will remedy the situation.

Have YOU sent your fax yet?
