So, I wanna be a werewolf...
I know how to become one, I've done it before on an old save, but now I have some questions that I can't seem to find answers to anywhere else. So here they are:

What, if any, perks and/or skill lines are still active as a werewolf? (sneak, heavy armor, etc.)
Does your armor still apply while in werewolf form?
Do your armor enchantments still apply in werewolf form? (fortify health, fortify unarmed, etc.)

Werewolf is a transformation that strips you of all non-werewolf abilities as well as clothes.
You have no perks or even skill levels (while transformed), no armour, and no means of communicating with anyone.

The upside, you are a killing machine while transformed.

You can unlock new abilities and werewolf perks in game, mainly by eating the hearts of your fallen enemies while a werewolf and doing a couple of missions for Aela collecting totems which look like woodern modern art statuettes(to me at least)

I can tell you that without mods(i don't even know if there is a mod for it) armor does not apply. This makes you very squishy starting out as a werewolf.
Never got into the werewolf side of the game, but I remember you join the Companions of Jorrvaskr. Whiterun, the people in the upside down boat

Yes, I'm sure mead was involved when the idea of "Hey lets flip a boat over and then make it our club house" was put forth. Stupid, drunken Nord logic at it's best

Perks like sneak will not work and have 0 affect in werewolf form. Mostly becasue you're a giant wolf and kinda hard to miss and you can't sneak in werewolf form. More Obvious skills like speech, pickpocket, lockpicking...etc will be usless as well.
I really am not sure about armor perks. My assumption would be they have no affect either as werewolf form you get a different combat mechanic and is more relient on you werewolf form perks. I could very well be wrong about this.
Enchantments go hand in hand with armor so if your armor doesn't work neither will enchantments.

Yeah... I was afraid of that. I'm just trying to figure out what would be a good build to run with when not wolfing it up.

Have you heard of the Moonlight tales mod for werewolves? It's really a fantasic werewolf overhaul and you get more balenced werewolf perks.
On the flip side I'd say find whatever build suits you best.
