Purple textures almost everywhere
When I look at my map and when Im running around skyrim, and there is a large amount of light purple textures all over. Ive gone through each mod and even with every mod ive installaed disabled, still purple textures everywhere.
At first on my new there was no purple mad, but after downloading some mods, certain textures became purple. Im quite confused as ive done every combination that I can to prevent this, but I found no fix.

Make Skyrim vanilla...

Then read the guides and resources here to learn how to mod the game correctly...

How are you obtaining these mods and how are you installing them?

I obtain the mods from the Nexus and I use nexus mod manager. I dont install anything manually because the last time I tried I HECKED up my game

Nmm is also hecking up your game. If you have been removing mods with nmm, it most likely did not fix the file pathings when doing so.

Is your NMM virtual install directory on the same dive letter as skyrim?

He meant drive.

You will need to follow this: https://steamcommunity.com/app/489830/discussions/0/312265589446940121/

It would be best to switch to a different mod manager. You can also backup your save of you want to attempt to get them to work.

Do you have a mod manager youd reommend? Ive only used nmm because from the sit eI can just press "NMM" and not even have to touch the files, because Im extrenely scared ill mess something up

There are some excellent videos by Gamerpoets linked on the nexus page.

Have a question - when you download files from Nexus, are you downloading from the file page, or justy clicking the link on the first page in the top right where the two buttons are - one saying NMM, and the other Manual - because, if you are doing the latter (clicking on NMM on the description page), you are more than likely downloading the wrong files. Only download mods from the files page.

And you NEED to read the link that cfs111 posted - if you do not thorougly read that and do all that it says you need to do, then we really cannot help you.

I always just pressed the NMM button on the description page! I always assumed it was the most up to date version. But I believe ive found the issue, possibly, when I open my map. It sais SKYUI is having trouble with the map file, which may be a solution, as when I open my map there is purple all over.

I will still check out these links however
