Unable to change load order in nexus mod manager
While i've modded oldrim many times, this is my first time modding and playing the SSE. I'm using NMM as i used to do to manage my mods. However, the options to move a file up or down in my load order are greyed out. Drag and drop does nothing as well.

Did they disable this feature or am i missing something?

Its a bug. Do google search to find one of many possible fixes
NMM is no longer supported, but still available for DL and use.

CC is the reason why because they havent updated the plugins tab for sorting ESL files alongside ESM/ESP files despite support for displaying them.

Option i took was install MO, its a LOT easier, cleaner and safer to as it leaves the vanilla game files untouched when installing mods.

I remember not liking MO last time i tried it (don't remember why though), and i really like NMM. But, I guess if NMM is bugged, I'll have to give MO a shot again.

You could try vortex

Make sure it's mo2 that you use. Mo1 does not support 64bit games.

I'd hold off Vortex for a while tried it and it hasnt got MO2's multi hard drive mod/game install locations added yet.

eg. I keep my untouched game as is and store the mods on another drive, when mods are installed through MO2, it unpacks off the other drive and installs as usual.

Hopefully Vortex has better install compatibilities and causes less dummy spits for modders like fore too.

Vortex uses hard links, it will never be possible to have the files on a different drive than the game

Oh don't worry, I'm sure that you'll fix this with no issues in no time and, oh wait, this isn't the original Skyrim.... whelp, good luck on your google search! Meanwhile I'll be enjoying my modding "old" skyrim game with ZERO ISSUES!
