Cant log in on nexus website to download nmm.

So every time I try to log in a pop up comes up for the log in, when I click anywhere on it it closes so I cant put in my name and password. Anyone else having this problem and can it be fixed?

I was having a possibly related issue.

About a month ago, I learned that there had been an issue with recent (but not the current) version of NMM, in that you can't log into the website from the app. I was able to log into the website directly just fine (using chrome).

So, I downloaded the new version of the app from the website directly, and after that, all troubles disappeared.

However, it sounds like you're trying to get NMM app from the website already? I ask, in case you're using the app to reach the website, which I know was problematic.

I am using chrome to get the nmm on my laptop, but the website seems bugged.

If it's immediately closing the popup window, that sounds like a computer setting rather than the website itself... do you have a setting in your browser that automatically blocks or closes popups?

This doesn't sound like it's related, but recently I was having difficulty with NMM saying it couldn't connect to the server. It turns out that Nexus updated their coding or changed server hosts or soemthing... but the NMM available for download from the Nexus itself DOES NOT WORK. You have to download it from a third party site. I don't recall which one I used, but I was able to Google it and the one I found worked fine.

The download from Nexus (where it says install NMM) does work - it is where all of us got it from. However, NMM is a dead program and is being replaced by Vortex. Either use Vortex for your mod manager, or, even better, and highly recommended, use Mod Organizer 2, instead.

One more thing - Nexus is having some problems today, so that may play into issues, as well.

Had the same problem just now on 4 different browsers. I ended up going to the forum and using its sign up page to get into Nexusmods proper. However, it appears the problem may have been with reCaptcha as I just tried it again and this time the reCaptcha popup loaded properly and, once completed, I can click in the login popup all day with no issues.

It's probably a Captcha problem. That feature is so wonky I've noticed logging into Nexusmods.
