It alayws works out when I ask them everything but it wont give me the option "I could adopt you if you want." And its so annoying!!! Please help! do you have enough bed space for the extra kid? if you only got whiterun you'll only get 1 child, dlc houses give space for the max 2 children (unless you cheat)

That makes sense: move your family out of Breezehome into a house that has more than one child's bed. If you're married you can move house by talking to your spouse - I don't know what's the procedure for moving house if you have children but not a spouse, perhaps you talk to the resident housecarl or one of the children?

Also: All the other basic houses in the game (Proudspire in Solitude, Honeyside in Riften, Hjerim in Windhelm, Vlindrel in Markarth) have enough space for the kids.

If you have Hearthfire and any of its houses, you will need to build far enough to have a complete Main Hall, and have installed enough beds for everybody - the kids, yourself, your spouse if you have one, if you want to move the family in - and maybe the housecarl / steward as well (housecarls make excellent stewards for your properties, regardless of whether you're married to them or not: when you need to appoint a steward for a Hearthfire property, the resident housecarl is the most obvious candidate, that would be Rayya, Gregor or Valdimar, because they will hang around the property and consider it their home *anyway* as long as there is somewhere for them to sleep, unless you marry them and then make your "official home" in another of your properties. If the housecarl can't find somewhere to sleep because your family is in residence and there aren't enough beds, they will go somewhere else - either one of your other properties, or the local Jarl's longhouse, no matter how far away the walk is.)

If you have a Childrens' Bedrooms annexe, *that* needs to be completed far enough for the family to sleep in, regardless of whether there are sufficient beds available in the main house, the game doesn't count them.

(I just bought Tundra Homestead - the Creation Club DLC house which is just outside Whiterun - and married Ysolda, and moved the family there. Lucia was the first adoption: for the second one, I chose Sofie from Whiterun because she seemed so sad and forlorn, especially trying to sell mountain flowers in Skyrim's snowiest major city (or, second snowiest after Winterhold, but Winterhold is barely a city any more.)

In Windhelm, you need to speak to Aventus Aretino (young boy). Best bet is to see the second link I posted ( http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Innocence_Lost ) as I would just be basically repeating all that.
