Game is missing ALL .esm files (including skyim.esm)
heres the jist of things. Whenever I try to load my save skyrim tells me that I am loading a save that had content removed, it then lists all my mods as no longer installed and also lists skyrim.esm as well as update.esm and the 3 dlc's. any ideas?

Have you tried a file verify?

Are you using an external manager and if so which one?

probably there's something a miss with the plugin list had that also once needed a complete rebuild of the lists.

I have no idea what you mean by this.

all plugins that are needed to load (esm's/esp's) are listed in a file called plugin.txt if something is wrong with that file skyrim doesn't know what needs to be loaded.

I'm assuming what he means is something has gone wrong with the plugin.txt. Find mo2's plugin.txt for your current profile, delete it, restart mo2. Run all your tools again to make sure everything is in order, then try launching.

sorry it's probably bigger then that if the game esms also not loaded also don't asume that in my case it looked also fine however no matter what it wouldn't load

Didnt know Mo2 kept its own plugin.txt file (though I guess it makes sense because of profiles.) Where would I find this?
SpeedFreak1972 Jun 25, 2018 @ 6:07am
my solution was delete both plugin.txt (MO and game) then verify after that rebuild everything in MO

Or do what I did when I switched to MO2 and do a Clean install of the game. It was a pain but so far I like MO seems a little easier to use mods with it
