Mythical ages or dolomite + true storms?
Modding SSE for the first time (Though i heavily modded LE in the past). I'm looking for a good weather mod. I've spent the last hour looking at comparisons on youtube. I'm settled on either dolomite or mythical ages but I'm torn between the 2.

Dolomite looks hands down the best in clear weather (picturesque even) but the fog looks like it'd make combat and travelling a pain in the ***. I'm playing a 1 hit kill style playthrough and I feel archers would destory me since NPCs ignore fog and rain. And the storms in general look kinda meh. Though truestorms could help with this, and sounds easily compatible.

On the other hand, Mythcial ages has awesome looking storms and a good balance for fog. I feel like it'd make travelling more treacherous but not tedious. (I never fast travel) Clear skies definately look good but not quite up to par with dolomite. And, it sounds like this does everything truestorms does (better thunder, indoor rain sounds), saving me 2 slots for esps.

So i was wondering if anyone uses either of these mods and what you thought of them, particularly the storms and fog. For users of mythical ages, does that mods thunder make truestorms unnecessary?

Thank you for your help and opinions on the matter.

And to those who suggest other weather mods, no thank you. I've done comparisons, it's one of these 2 for me.

Or to put it another way: you need the opinion of others because you have no opinion of your own? Or are undecided and prefer others to do the "thinking" part? I can see how this will work out in the modding future.

No! It's not! Didn't you know that people need others to decide?! What should I eat today? Lucky Charms or Teddy Grahams?

well if someone says what I must eat ... I take something else just to be different.

I was gonna say just mix 'em together.

Next time I will. Maybe.

Same goes for modding. In doubt: merge them.

I'll go ahead and feed the trolls (you all are getting raisan bran today).

I was not asking others to make my decision nor do my thinking for me. I was asking what others thought of the above mods. Feedback such as "Mod X tends to crash during a particular storm" "Mod Y has really dark nights and needs a torch" "Mod X is not compatible with interior changeing mods cause it edits them to add indoor rain sounds". "Mod Y is annoying during fog because archers and mages continue to hit you while you can't see them"

These comments would not be others making my decision for me, but give me additional information to make the decision myself. Rather than spend 20 hours in game testing the various scenerios myself, I thought i'd ask and see if anyone had such information.

Now stand still for 8 seconds while I cast flames.

I don't care about what you want or not. Why should I?

So with other words you like that others do the testing for you .... great is it a paying job? maybe you could host a beta.
