Stuck in the cart.
The game installed fine, loaded fine, started fine, but then I am stuck in the cart, I cannot interact with anyone, and we just end up against a wall and that is that. I have looked around and to date I have not found a fix to this. So I was thinking, can I get a saved game file from the net somewhere, or can someone create one, say just after escaping the axeman at the beginning of the game. I am thinking if I had a saved game to load rather than just having to start from a new game each time, which is all I can do. I may get around this glitch. It's very frustrating it is not like it is an early release game, the bugs should be gone, there are no mods, I hope someone can help me out with this...

Welcome to every Bethesda game ever. You know the game is a bug-fest when the intro is one of the most internally unstable parts of the game lol

Look at your graphic settings like vsync, FPS etc. not the game, your computer.

So vsync what should that be set to? On or Off or are thgere gradients? FPS would be 60 as an optimum?

60 FPS and I believe higher framerates are known to bug out the cart scene.

FPS can't exceed 60 See:

And regardless of people saying it is possible to exceed it, and even posting on Nexus with mods that change settings so you can - exceeding 60 FPS WILL break your game. It is not just the visuals and physics that are tied to FPS (as so many people seem to think), it is also ALL things in the game - quests, time, schedules - things that can't be seen just by looking at the screen.

In other words, even if you get it to run at over 60 FPS with mods, it's like that gorgeous looking person - they look great on the outside, but inside they are riddled with cancer and will soon collapse and die.
