Skyrim closes right after starting
I have a problem. I did not play in Skyrim for some time. When I try to start game it closes. This look like. Launcher is open. I click "Play", (Bethesda logo) and now buttons in right down corner is loading. When loading is complete the game just closes.

My computer meets all requirements to launch it on Ultra setings without any problems. I remove game from Razer Cortex and all background programs that can be turned off are turned off.

For future reference, literally saying "my PC meets all system requirements," doesn't exactly help us diagnose your issues.

Based on what you described, the issue is that one or more of your mods is packed in a 32bit BSA file meant for old Skyrim (i.e. Legendary Edition). Skyrim Special Edition only loads unpacked, aka "loose", data files and 64bit BSA files.
You need to disable all the mods you are using (using the internal mods menu) and test them individually to determine if any of them are from Skyrim Nexus rather than Skyrim Special Edition Nexus.

This is a known issue for some. Bethesda sent an update that bugged out the game when it trys to go to Net.

Sinsling offered up a common way to work around the issue.

When will Beth fix this :steamfacepalm: they claim they have.

Some are saying block exe files from the Net.

Yes, if disabling internet works you can block the Skyrim special edition's exe from internet privileges in windows defender.

People have reported problems trying to mod after disabling internet.

Despite knowing the problem, Bethesda has opted not to do a roll back or quick fix. Don't expect fixes any time soon, it's already been 2+ months and no further updates on the issue.

if you have mods, disable them all and start and see if it works, if it does try to install 1 mod at a time to find the broken mod that's what i did had like 500 mods installed and it helped to find the broken ones pretty fast to be fair

I wonder what would happen if people having this issue would use a US Keyboard layout.
