Can't make enchanter's table at lakeview manor.

I'm thinking it might related to one of my weight reduction mods. It's telling me I need a grand soul gem and I have like 4 but it keeps the grand soul gem part shaded out. Could anyone tell me a workaround or would I be forced to deactivate my mods, craft it, then reactivate it?

Unless it's been a bug all along, I can say from personal experience that building the Arcane Enchanter in Hearthfire houses does in fact require the Grand Soul Gem to be filled in order for it to be used as a crafting component. I can't say for certain whether or not it requires the gem to be filled with a Grand soul, though I assume that it does.

EDIT: Just checked the wiki, and it indeed does specify "Filled Grand Soul Gem" in the list of crafting materials for the Arcane Enchanter:

I am having the same issue. Every time i try to create the Enchanter I get nothing. My soul gems are filled, the rest of my home is empty. It was the first thing I tried to make in that part of the house. Luckily I saved before making it so I did not lose any items. I am guessing it is a bug.

I had an issue where the enchanter wasn't getting built it the room it was supposed to be in.

So I went to the building table in another room (the main hall actually) and built it there.

I would echo that response. I tried to build my enchanter at lake view and all I had was a regular grand soul gem and the “grand soul gem” was greyed out in the ingredient list. Now, I went a filled a bunch of gems, so I can’t say for certain exactly which soul I filled the grand soul gem with but it did fix the problem and I was able to build the enchanter. Hope this helps :)
