Do you use blood cursed arrows?
So I bow this awesome bow, got the two special arrows, but does anyone really use these?
The blood cursed is kinda useless since I'm not a vampire, and the other rains death from the sky.
Kinda afraid to use it cause I got the shouts that causes lightning, but it hits everyone, so all NPCs become hostile, and my partner can die from it.

Outside of blotting out the sun for a day, they don't really do anything. I mean I'll use them every now and then, but I'm a vampire lord.

The bow itself isn't even that impressive tbh. I never really use it.

That's too bad...
On the other hard that shield that absorbs power seems cool.
I gave my follower the shield, and eventually took it back, and wow! The knockback shot the guy into the sky. XD

I use them to get rid of the sun if I'm playing as a vampire and there are a lot of enemies around me. If I'm not a vampire, I just store it in one of the houses and never look at it again. It's really not that special.

I never tried. I've stuck to the Sunhalowed Elven arrows and shoot them at the Sun. Fries any undead it touches.
Sunhallowed arrows are pretty good for undead, but bloodcursed are only good if you feel like wiping out cities...

True...but the extra UV burns stuff if you shoot Sunhallowed at the sun using Ariel's Bow ;-) Slow destruction vs fast :-3

Afaik it triggers heavier vampire assaults at cities as a side effect, still nothing a mod cant fix ;)

It triggers a bunch of awesome dialog. Nazeem giving you a hard time? Blot out the Sun! Some child wants to fight you or insults you? Blot out the Sun! Visiting a town you hate? Blot out the Sun!

You'll get a lot of vampire activity that day, and Gargoyles too.
Furry Eskimo Feb 8, 2018 @ 5:09am
lol, ok, cool.
And I thought Gargoyles were unique to a few special areas.

They can spawn in random encounter nodes. Normally they can only show up at night, but blotting out the sun heavily weights random encounters towards vampire-related events.
