Given this quote on the mod description page:
... I wouldn't count on it.
This issue is typically caused by missing facegen data. For example, since SE won't read Oldrim facegen files, one way to trigger this is by importing Oldrim mods that edit NPCs without running those mods through the Creation Kit first.
How can I do it?
DO NOT DOWNLOAD the mod, just follow the instructions
But, quite frankly, only worths the time if you have 200+ mods installed, otherwise it's easier to just reinstall everything.
You may find there's a specific combination of mods that leads to the problem. If all of your groups suddenly come up "clean", recombine them in different combinations until you get back on the scent.
Once you've identified the mod(s) in concern, consider the source. If it's an Oldrim mod, and you find that the author has released an SE version, then you should obviously switch! If it's an SE mod, then you should check that you've installed it properly, and consider contacting the author if a re-install doesn't help.
If for whatever reason you can't get the author to fix the issue, that's when you'd consider attempting to create the facegen data yourself.
