A mod to balance difficulty?

Okay, i'm sure there is a mod but im struggling to find one.
I do love Skyrim but find the difficulty settings rather and unbalanced.

The harder the setting the harder the enemy hits (Which is a good thing) but I’m not keen on the amount of times you have to hit a ‘mob’ to kill it. For e.g On master difficulty while attacking a shirtless bandit I ended up shooting 30 arrows into the poor little guy and he was still running around at about 10% health and on another occasion I ended up tw*ting a rat over the head with a battle axe 10-15 times before it died.


I was just wondering if there any NON-game breaking, non- buggy mods out there that address this issue and maybe the A.I of mobs without changing every aspect of the game?

I think your guy isnt ready for master difficulty. I one shot rats on legendary, and what bandit were you facing: a regular one or like a bandit maurader?

I always go for Combat Evolved but there are lots of combat mods out there. Basically they make damage dealt and damage taken alot higher for both you and the enemy. Play on Adept or Expert and you can kill an enemy in 2 or 3 hits, but they can also do the same to you. Makes it alot more balanced and you end up using strategy rather than mashing buttons to win a fight.
