Instant CTD When Selecting New Game or Load Game

I was testing out some new mods which I downloaded a couple of days ago (Mostly textures) to see if I could get my game looking any better. The game ran fine until I died, as when trying to load the previous save point, the game crashed. When I tried reloading, I got an instant CTD. It doesn't matter what I do. I tried loading the previous point, points before that and also vanilla saves which had no mods installed when saved. I have also tried starting a new game after moving my saves to another folder, but to no avail. The only way I can get the game to work is by playing it with no mods installed whatsoever. The only "Fix" I have come across either on the forums or by searching Google, is to disable OneDrive, only I don't have that installed as I got rid of it not long after I updated to Windows 10 when it was first available. LOOT doesn't work for me as it keeps placing mods in the wrong place (Such as Live Another Life which is supposed to be at the bottom of my load order, but LOOT puts about halfway), I have also tried uninstalling the mods I had downloaded and tested, thinking it may have been one of them, but still no luck. Anyone have any idea how to solve this?

Edit: Finally have everything again now.

Solution: Even after uninstalling SMP, it still left files behind in the Data folders.

Oh i know exactly how to solve it. You said it yourself the game works when there are no mods.

That means its a mod problem.

That means you have to find out which mod is causing it.

Disable mod check if the game works disable mod check if the game works rinse and repeat until you disable a mod and the game works.

The mod you disabled last is the most likely culprit.

then all you have to do is find out how to fix that mod or decide to get rid of it permenantly

The only problem is that the game worked perfectly fine before I installed the latest mods, so I have already uninstalled them thinking it was one of them. Currently going through my Data folder to see if there are any leftovers that may be causing the issue.

You have many mods I am unfamiliar with, so I cannot give you specific advice. Two things that stick out to me though:

1. There are some things that are supposed to load below ASLAL. Don't get me wrong LOOT is definitely not always right, but I would use it and then make specific adjustments over not using it at all.

2. Is there a reason you're not using USSEP? It is a rather comprehensive bug fixing mod. Its absence might not be causing your issue right this moment but others could very well pop up without it.

Okay, so things work fine in vanilla running SKSE64, but as soon as I activate one mod, CTD. Also I loved the idea of a Fallout/Elder Scrolls crossover so I use the same character in Skyrim and Fallout 4 XD

Which version are you using? From what I have read the newest version is causing crash issues, I believe the stable version is 4.2.

Currently using 4.2 as 4.31 was having issues with the body mods I am using for characters.

If there is an instant CTD when you press the Load or New Game buttons, try unplugging/disabling your internet connection and see if starts. It only takes a minute to test and it rules something out.

I have it working now :) Turns out it was SMP, which is a shame as I am a sucker for physics, and I loved having dresses/coats that actually moved, as well as hairstyles. They had left behind a few files in the scripts folder after I uninstalled everything to begin testing which mod was causing the issue. Going to miss having physics though, as HDT isn't fully out yet for Skyrim SE :( Thanks to everyone for the help :) Much appreciated.
