CTD near orphan rock only
So I've been playing my name for quite a long time and just now I've started crashing whenever I fast travel to Orphan Rock. I can fast travel other places just fine but Orphan Rock will CTD every time.

No I only downloaded mods from special edition's nexus. I've had trouble with mods before so I was very careful this time. The strange thing is that I've been to orphan rock before.

Has any of your mods added quests that are asking you to go there or may have otherwise changed the area?

Not that I'm aware of, the only quest mods I have are Legacy and Parthuurnax and I don't think either of those change that area.

I suppose I could start taking off mods that I've downloaded more recently and see if that works.

If you are still using nmm that'll be a problem, and removing mods mid playthrough isn't really advised.

In case anyone was having trouble with this as well I found that one day respawn was causing the crash. removing it has solved the problem
