Help Selveni Nethri escape the cave.

i killed her and so i cant complete the quest. so do anyone know console command to fix it?

Er, no. The NPC required to complete the quest is dead (which is why it could not be completed in the first place). The game has that NPC marked as dead. Ergo, the quest cannot be completed.

Fortunately this is a miscellaneous quest that has no bearing on anything else.

as I GOT that info from the UESP I think this is acceptable. Besides, the console commands will work even if the NPC is dead. I should know, I also had to use those commands when a quest had me protect an already dead NPC

Post the link - first thing I checked was UESP wiki - and that was NOT listed as a fix for this quest. And if you just pulled it off the Console command page - that does not mean it should be used - and just because it happened to work for you does NOT mean that it is safe. We have gone over the problems and hazzards of using console commands repeatedly in these forums - especially as regards using resurrect command - a command that should never be used on unique/named NPCs.

I was mistaken, I didn't realize that this wasnt UESP I apologize. And I have seen several others say they fixed a similar issue with those commands.

It is like sticking a band-aid over an internal organ. The added pressure might work temporarily, but eventually the internal organ is going to worsen.

In this particular instance, repeated use of unstable prompts are the band-aids. The broken quests/dead npcs are the internal organs. The damage to the insides is going to outpace what miniscule good the prompts are doing.

No apology necessary - but it is as Sinsling says above. Many people say things work for them without realizing the harm that is being done - which we see in the forums constantly. And unless you spend as much time in here as we do (but I presume you have a life, and therefore actually do things, lol!), you are not likely to see this. But, your desire to help is what is important, and I would hope that you continue to try to help others in here,

firstly her body disabeared. so i might just play without completing that quest

there might be a command to remove that quest...
or you might be able to abandon it from the Journal... not sure

Unfortunately, there is no way to remove an entry from your journal or to hide an entry. In cases like this, you just have to ignore it. Just one of though little annoyances (like having quests initiate just because you spoke to someone, overheard them talking, or opened a letter).
