FNIS
So I tried to install "Shake it SSE", and I have to use FNIS, yet I try to run it, and I get this message:

>>Warning: Generator not run from a legal (Steam) Skyrim installation directory. If you use SKSE, this can be fixed by starting Skyrim once through Steam.<< FNIS Behavior V7.4.5 27.05.2018 22:35:22 Generator: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe Skyrim 32bit: ??.??.?? - >>Warning: \character\character assets female\skeleton_female.hkx not Skyrim compatible<< >>Warning: \character\character assets\skeleton.hkx not Skyrim compatible<< Skeleton(hkx) female: Unknown (99 bones) male: Unknown (99 bones) Patch: "GENDER Specific Animations" Patch: "SKELETON Arm Fix" Patch: "File Redirection (Vortex/MO profiles support)" ERROR(2014): Target folder for File Redirection not specified or does not exist: . FNIS.ini wrong or missing. See FNIS Description > FNIS Vortex/MO support (profiles), FNIS.ini.

If one man could help me, I'd appreciate it a lot and I'll give the succ. Thanks in advance.

FNIS has code that refuses to run if you use pirate mod sites, or if it thinks you are using an illegal copy 9f Skyrim.

If you aren't using mod drop try opening Skyrim through Steam first, SKSE second, and rerun FNIS.

As for the skeleton error, make sure you have correctly installed the extended skeleton.

I'm using nexus mod manager, I thought it'd install the stuff correctly-
And I am not using an illegal version/pirated version of Skyrim SE. I paid my 40€ to Todd.

Fair enough, I'd still start with the skeleton mod though and go from there if it were me.

Are you using the right version of FNIS? Also, Shake It probably requires the XPMSE skeleton, so that needs downloaded and installed.

What mod manager are you using? You need to run FNIS through the mod manager, not just run it separate.

When you installed Skyrim, did you run it once to setup the ini files, then start a new game and make it at least to the point you have control of your character? This is generally a good idea to make sure the vanilla install isn't glitched. It's required to at least start Skyrim once and get to the main menu to get the ini file for many mods as well.

We can see that you have a legal version of the game. Did you download anything from Moddrop? I forget what the issue is, but something downloaded from that site, which has had piracy issues in the past, will keep FNIS from running.

@Mringasa
I am using the most recent version of Nexus Mod Manager, and for your last, I haven't had any plans on modding until I discovered the mods. So I never knew of it.

@Chef I didn't download anything of Moddrop, I use Nexus

Did you add FNIS as an executable to NMM? I think it does this automatically if you download it and restart, but I can't remember. I know MO you need to manually add it. That way you run it from the dropdown in NMM.

Install paths. Did you move your Skyrim directory? Also, does it work with other mods installed when you run it?
Brownhorn111 May 27, 2018 @ 2:08pm
@Mringasa
Yes, I added the executable to NMM. Also what is MO?
And, no. I haven't touched the install paths at all. Unless C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition is wrong, I don't know what could be wrong
Mringasa May 27, 2018 @ 2:15pm
MO is Mod Organizer. Another mod managing tool. NMM is no longer supported since they are working on Vortex right now. Other than bug fixes at least. Mod Organizer 2 is... better than NMM, but the learning curve on it is pretty rough in the beginning. It's well worth it though to use instead of NMM.

You might try deleting FNIS and redownloading/installing it. It looks like it's not detecting anything related to Special Edition. Also verify the integrity of your SSE files to make sure everything is okay.

Ok so, I deleted and reinstalled FNIS, and I got this message:

Did you go to tools in game folder and check that FNIS is in there, first up?.
Forget this just seen the above post beat me.

@★Kelvy★ So this means the mods.. work? *Eyes 5 warnings*
★Kelvy★ May 27, 2018 @ 2:35pm
It may it is only a warning, deactive it and use fnis again and see your result.
May need xedit to see whats what in the mod that may need fixing.
Meaning the part for eyes 5
