Retaking Thirsk: Which choice is the best?
I am at a loss as to which of the choices to take at the end of the Dragonborn quest Retaking Thirsk is the best one. All of them seem to be bad, either on a moral standpoint and on a reward standpoint.

Which one would be better? I'm thinking about just going with Bujold as being the leader still and lying to everyone else, but that seems morally wrong.

Not all choices are supposed to be clear cut, and the TES universe is at best grey on grey and in some cases straight orange on blue morally speaking.

I agree they are bad, so i simply leave them on the beach till they grow a set. which is never....

Always side with the Reiklings. Why would anyone want any other companions but them? If you install Hello Dagi, you can even buy them little sweetroll costumes from the Krin Company shop.

I usually side with the sad, little Nords because ♥♥♥♥ those Rieklings. I hate those things with a passion. I've helped them one time, but their little buddies still wouldn't be nice to me so now I kill them all when I get a chance. Bujold might be a PoS, as a leader and a person, but at least she's human. Speciesism ftw!

I ignore that quest simply for the fact there's no acceptable resolution. Aiding the Riekling's doesn't give you the Faction Alignment to keep them from attacking you, and taking charge of it yourself is not an option. If you don't do the quest, they'll stay on the beach forever, yet Hrothmund's spirit doesn't see that and declare you harbinger.

I don't care that you could become the leader of Thirsk in Morrowind. You should get the same option. Granted, you're not defeating the Uderfrykte, but Bujold and her bunch are doing even less to prove they're worthy of even being there.

Bah, I never do that quest. Those milk-drinkers on the beach don't deserve to call themselves Nords, and the Rieklings don't pay well enough. Let both sides stew in their own juices.

What would your character do? That's all that matters. This is roleplaying game. Roleplay.

Thank you everybody who responded to this. I think that I am just going to avoid finishing the quest, as it has no value at all.
