Is there a male equivalent to CBBE? Like Super Hero Bodies in Fallout?
Also wondering how to make the physics body work for CBBE in Skyrim, I already have the XMPSSE skeleton and stuff just not sure how to get it showing in game

SoS, which get filtered everytime you put it in there with the full name, is usually my go to for male bodies. There are some skin textures out there as well. SoS - Lite is in my load order now. Not sure if it's on the Nexus though. It's definitely on LL. Google it though, and should get a match.

For physics right now, CBP is the only one I know of since HDT hasn't been ported over. CBP has a couple config options from other mods though that can help tweak it to what you want. It just hits the jiggly parts though, I don't think there's anything for stuff like hair etc unless you port it yourself.

Better Males Remesh
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3672
Warning: Has penis out and everything.

Unsure if you can use it in the same way as CBBE, with BodySlide, as I don't alter the males. Only the textures, for which I am using:

SkySight Skins - Ultra HD 4K 2K Male Textures and Real Feet Meshes
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6580
Looks great, without making them too "sexy" and whatnot.

S Chlongs of Skyrim. There's Also SAM - Shape Atlas for Men, but hasn't been ported to Special Edition yet.

Haha, oh yeah and the one that Mringasa mentioned. Always forget that one, even though the name is genius.

SoS? Is that the mod with the, ahem, genitalia? Wonder if even that will get censored lol. Not really looking for that, more looking for something that uses bodyslide the same as CBBE etc. unless that is a feature of Sos? I haven't ever looked at it cos I couldn't find it on the Nexus but if it has that feature it'd be good I guess.

CBP? So how do I get the physics working in game? So far as I know from my time on Fallout all I have to do is build the physics body in bodyslide to whichever preset I use? But when I did that I didn't really notice any in game changes.

This seems like something I might end up going with. I'm more interested in making the males look better visually really than any special tinkering in bodyslide anyways.

Bonus question :steamhappy: Is there a way to enable in game sliders with CBBE in Skyrim like I could in Fallout or does that require things such as Racemenu etc?

Only looking for things that are already ported, I'm simply not adept enough with modding to port stuff myself. On a Skyrim scale I'd say I'm at like 30 skill in modding lol :steamfacepalm:

All you need for CBP to work is the XPMSE skeleton iirc. Then just install the CBP mod from the Nexus, and either use that normally or pick one of the other config options for it. They are separate mods. I'm using:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/13207

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16380

I think it only hits breasts, butts, and belly atm though. HDT covered a whole bunch of other things iirc, but it hasn't been ported.

Tempered Skin for Males is the male texture I'm using. It has one for females as well, but using a different one this time around.

Think the extra sliders you need RaceMenu or Enhaned Character Edit. I had stability issues with those installed though, so pulled them. Others have gotten them to work fine, and I think they are both ported, so probably just needed tinkering on my end to get them working smoothly with my build.

In game sliders require Racemenu. In Oldrim, there were in-game sliders if you also installed Bodyslide and Outfit Studio. S Clongs of Skyrim has sliders for the S chlong while SAM has sliders for both the S chlong and body. This feature hasn't carried over to Special Edition yet.

Aye, that's all I did. Just improved their skin texture, to add a bit more depth for making presets. That is the best texture I found. Not many for males, though. Sodding tons for females. Perverts lol.

As for in-game sliders, I'll pass to somebody who might know. Totally clueless.

Ahhh see I had no idea I needed another mod for physics I dont think I did for Fallout. Got it now anyways :D Thanks

You need SKSE, the XPMSSE skeleton (use the HDT skeleton, not the BBP), FNIS (run it after installing the skeleton) and a body replacer with bone weights, so naturally you'll need to build the physics body if using a Bodyslide preset. The CBBE physics body uses breast and butt, UUNP also has belly. CBP supports all of it but doesn't support custom physics script files.

There's also CBPC which is CBP with collisions. Recommended!

There actually also is a physics mod which supports custom physics files: HDT-SMP aka Skinned Mesh Physics aka hdtSSEPhysics. It has full functionality including custom physics files. Unfortunately its script format is completely new, so old custom script files can't be directly converted. They need to be remade, but fortunately the new format is much more intuitive and less messy. Unfortunately, it still has problems, particularly with frame drops on collision events.

I realise this comment is from well over a year ago but I'm coming you or someone else cam give me some help...

I used SoS and the bodybuilder mod when I first played Skyrim years ago. It was everything I wanted. But now I'm wanting to replay Skyrim and I don't want to play without the option to have my character super huge :steamsad:

the SoS part is secondary.. I mainly want the mods for bodybuilders and the altered armor.. but I am having an impossible time figuring out how to get it for Skyrim SE...

Help please?

Thank you but sadly that is not the size I'm looking for.
