Dragon born dlc main story short?
I legit finished it in less then 3 hours and I didn't rush through it, kinda expected more

The main story is pretty short, it's only a DLC though. The side missions are where the money is though, so to speak. The mead hall, stahlrim mining, getting the Black Books, the treasure hunt for that set of armor/weapons (can never remember the name) and all the other fun things there can suck up a lot of time. Pretty standard fare for a Bethesda game though. Main portion is semi-short and not the greatest, but the side content is fun times.

I found it very underwhelming, quite frankly. All the more disappointing by how awful and cheap the Dragon riding is. Would have been infinitely better with full control over the movement and actions, instead of just following the same mechanics as AI-controlled Dragons.

I mean I'm not saying it was crap, but it definitely could have been better.

Yeah. A bit on the short side. Getting to ride dragons as it is, fairly paltry. The exploration aspect and eventually getting a house in Raven Rock is neat though.
