How to reset ai of all NPCs?
So the mod Diverse Dragons Collection has completely broken, and I'm constantly stuck in combat and detected, but the dragon does not exist or at the very least I can't find making me unable to reset it's ai directly. Now I would just remove it from the game.. Buuut that just makes my saves unloadable.

TL;DR Is there anyway to reset the ai/combat status of every single NPCs ai?

I think you have to do 1 npc at a time. Open console, select npc, type "resetAI".

The only command to speed up the process is targeted, and given that AI resets as cells reload anyway, odds are that wouldn't help you even if you could see your dragon.

I reckon your best bet might be to travel somewhere remote and then try the "killall" command.

I appreciate the response, but you knew that wouldn't help me. .w.
Well, I figured out the issue either way. The dragon that started combat that I couldn't find just stopped existing after I entered a different cell (namely inside the college of winterhold) but the dragon that was detecting me was on the other side of the map. I tcl'd and went to find it, succeeded, tried "kill" to no avail and tried "recyleactor" which killed it and clipped it's body into the nearby mountain. Because reasons.

Normally, dragons can only die on land - I'm guessing there was something preventing it from picking a valid landing spot.

So, I don't know if this will still be relevant but I found a dumb work around for violent immortal npcs. All you need to do is get a small bounty on your head in the territory where the violent story npcs are, like punch a guard and run. Return to the SPECIFIC area that the violent npcs are, and use the spell PACIFY on any violent guard that you want to pay the bounty to, the effect of the spell is TEMPORARY, but it's hard to pay a fine to a blood thirsty guard. Once he settles down talk to him, he'll say he knows you and that you need to pay for your crimes. Pay the bounty and all the violent npcs will sheath their weapons and stop attacking. Hope this helps!
