Language Problem
I have a problem that is :

I have the language of skyrim se in German but random items and questlines and books are in english. It is mixed and i have no idea how to change that.

Does someone have the same problem?
Is there a solution to this? It completeley destroys the immersion for me and ruins the experience.

Are you running any mods?

indeed every mod that touches books and items and quests can overwrite the description ... most of them need a German localisation patch.

yes but those should not be the problem right? the mods dont change ingame items or questlines in any way , i only have the bruma mod, altenative life mod , ordinator overhaul and immersive patrols and the german translation for them

i am currently re installing sse , hopefully that will fix it

Mods can very much be the problem. It could be an incorrect load order, an unfinished language patch, or unregistered changes. The only way to know if the vanilla game is at fault would be to play with no mods at all and looking for the same instances of missing translation.

Alright i'm gonna give it a try and see if it works.
I will fill you all in later about if it worked or not

It has something to do with the vanilla version of the game. I just re installed it and removed every mod from the game before running it. I still have the same problems as before. Random quests, books and items are in english. Funny thing is on every other playthrough that i had a while ago, i did not encounter these problems.

Are your mods installed through nmm?
Noble May 21, 2018 @ 7:53am
i found the problem.
I did not disable the ussep ( unofficial skyrim special edition patch)
That little bugger was wreaking havoc on the ingame language settings. I have no idea why.

i think i did not install the translation for the patch that comes with it, so naturally some parts of the game that were fixed through the patch are not translated.

Thank you for your time and support :)
