Where do I find clay?
I built my Lake View Manor home and I need clay to finish the top story of my reading tower. Where is it I go to get this clay? I have figured out everything else I need for building my home but this. Thanks for your help.

The easiest way is to become thane of Falkreath and get FRayya as your housecarl. She will provide you with clay, stone, lumber and a number of other items you will need.

Usually there's a clay depository on site. Lakeview Manor is the safest place to keep your children.
