This mod? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/25198
It's only 2Mb, so it must be your connection or something. Or it might be NMM.
It's old and not updated anymore.
Uninstall all your mods, and replace NMM with Vortex.
NMM works well for me, it's simple, I looked up whether to get Vortex or not, decided not to. It's not necessary that I know of, so I'll be keeping it until the day comes that I am forced to swap.
Like I said, three mods have done this that are all different sizes, not to mention if it was my connection, my internet would be bogging down and I would be having other difficulties.
Great answer, by the way.
NMM, also doesn't always revert over-written files when you remove a mod. With Vortex and MO2, you never have to worry about that.
That said, Try Manually Downloading the mods and then Importing them to NMM.
Thank you very much for the information, I'll think about it... I just don't want to have to go through all that trouble of locating every single one of my mods on the nexus and then re-downloading them. Also, thanks for going through all of this trouble for me to help me. It's greatly appreciated.
I've never downloaded a mod manually, this should be fun.
I got three things from themanual download. Two files, one that is named "rhitta.bsl" and one named "rhitta.esp" the other is a file with the picture of an oblivion daedric rune on it, and it is named "rhitta" and at the bottom, when I click on it, it has "Bethesda Softworks Archive" in the details. It gives the downloaded date, and the size. I don't know if I should move all three of these into the data folder in Skyrim special edition, or if I should just move the .bsl and .esp files there. I also don't know what to do from there, to put them in NMM?
Plus as others have said, NMM is discontinued, I get it, each to their own but Vortex is a lot better.
In reference to what you said last post, never used that mod myself but read the mod description on manual install, normally extracting to data folder and running Loot does it.
Or :P, you can use Vortex and let it do it for you.
Your call matey hehe.
Lol, I'll give Vortex a try then. IF it doesn't work, I'm coming back, though. XD
Do I need to transfer my SKSE64 archive into Vortex btw?
Disclaimer: Even though NMM is still receiving community support and thus is not as dead as some people portray it, the writing is on the wall. For this game, since I already had a vanilla installation I took the opportunity to learn MO2. It has its own downsides but does the job.
Download and save the archive for the mod, then on NMM's mod page there is a button to add mod from file. click that, point it to the archive, and NMM will install it as you're used to.
It handles mods better and makes your mods and saves easier to manage.
Aye very true, had some issues with NMM myself back in the day, had a issue with Vortex as well, but was inexperienced at it at that point, now, it is a pleasure for modding your game.
@OP, I did not transfer SKSE to Vortex, I done it the old fashioned way, which works fine, so not sure, I do not know if Vortex would unpack the .pex and the 3 .dll files etc to the right places hehe.
Hope Vortex works out for you however.
If you can manually download mods to Vortec then you can download the SKSE Data folder.
Just zip it and use the mod manager to find, load and activate it. (Will eliminate SKYUI issue using its MCM.)
Or you can download the SKSE Data folder into games Data folder.
In either case rename them as SKSE Scripts
