SkyUI 5.2SE Widescreen (3440x1440) issue, can someone help?
Hello, long story short, the SkyUI does not fit on my widescreen when I run the game (the top is cut off). I have tried googling but I can't find anything that solves my problem.

Does sombody know how to make the SkyUI 5.2SE fit to a widescreen?

Thank you in advance.

Think there is a mod on Nexus for widescreen, but tbh I just use 4k on Geforce Experience and it works fine hehe.

Thank you, the widescreen mod did not do the trick. I installed with the manager and set the prefsini up accordingly, however, the SkyUI still was out of wack.

Is 4k a setting on Geforce Experience that I can just set? Never heard of it tbh.

GeForce Experience can optimise your games if you want it too, it uses DSR, I got a 2k monitor anyways, as 4k monitors do not really impress me all that much and it works fine, try it out.

Although this is dependent on a Nvidia card.

Ignore the people giving you wrong advice, and listen to me, the most handsome and helpful poster - like you, I'm playing in 21:9 at 3440 x 1440 and had the exact same UI clipping problem.

1. first install SKSE (SkyUI needs this, and so do a bunch of other mods)
https://skse.silverlock.org/

2. then SkyUI
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12604

3. then finally the "Complete Widescreen Fix for SkyUI" from here*:
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1778

4. And finally set the resolution to 3440 x 1440 in the .ini file

4a. There's a bunch of optional files for Complete Widescreen Fix under the Files tab, but the one you'll most likely want (and the only one I've needed so far) is "SkyUI SE - Flashing Savegames FIx - Widescreen Fix".
This one can come later, though, and only if you need it (i.e. after there are ~20-30 save games and the load screen starts flashing).

* Complete Widescreen Fix has a vanilla version also, meaning you could do without steps 1 and 2, but I haven't tried that... if only because SkyUI is awesome.

Also you can do all that, aside from SKSE, from Vortex - which might not be the BEST mod manager for SSE, but is probably the simplest to use.

Um ok, so I was giving him wrong advice?

Funny, as my game works perfect in 4k and never once had to use widescreen fixes, hell I did not even use it for Oldrim years ago.

But hey, what do I know.

The rest of the stuff you said is factual though:P

Just adding in my 2cents; With Nvidia's Shadow Software you can use preset ENB Functions to force a fake DSR and fake Ultra Crisp and when I say Ultra Crisp I mean beyond Sharpened Sharpness filters. They can be tweaked and set up to look amazing.

I used it on Dragon Quest XI and I must say.. it looks far better than any Console version .

You're giving them wrong advice because they are specifically asking about 21:9 widescreen, which you do not have.

So yes. Wrong.

So yes. Wrong.

Actually they did not specifically ask for 21:9 widescreen initally.

They asked about 4k res, (which I play on with zero issues), so my alleged wrong advice was understandable at the time, but whatever floats your superiority complex, maybe learn to read next time.

/slow clap ♥♥♥♥.

I dunno why you are so uptight about this. The initial post has never been edited, and specifies both a 21:9 resolution, and a problem you didn't solve. Relax, dude.

Actually, there is widescreen and super widescreen, e.g, my monitor is wide screen, and what I suggested works, the 21:9 version you helped with yes, but saying oh ignore everyone and saying I am wrong is why I am a bit irritated, and if you actually read the OP, he did not mentioned 21:9, you actually did.

4k Res can be achievable on different sizes and aspect ratios of monitors.

So in essence we are both right, but since you wanted to split hairs, I called you out on it.

Take a look at your posts, helpful yes, but you were being all superior and ♥♥♥♥ towards me, and that is what I had a problem with, as there was no need for it.

Hi, I have the similar problem on my 3440*1440 screen now, my game became too short and wide, I tried to follow the steps you said, but the mod is not working for me. I'm using Mod Organizer to manage my mods.
But the game ran normally when I start it in GeForce Experience. the problem only occur with SKSE
If you have any ideas about this, plz help
Thanks
