Looking for a perk overhaul mod that is balanced
Hi guys - I am looking for a perk overhaul mod that is also balanced for the rest of the game.

I have played on the 32 bit version a mod from T3ndo I think where he changed the whole game to make it more immersive regarding combat and perks, but I am pretty sure his mod is not available for Skyrim SE.

I have looked at the mod called Ordinator, but from what I can tell, it is extremely unbalanced as the perks are adjusted but enemies do not have any combat behavior changes, etc.

Does anyone have any good suggestions what I could use for a fresh, new play-through?

Thank you

I honestly would highly recommend Ordinator over the rest. I really value a balanced game too, and I havent seen anything unbalanced that I would attribute to Ordinator itself. The main factor for me though is that the perks are wayyyyyy funner than any other perk overhauls. Trip wires, bear traps, portals, controlling your conjurations, magical instruments, primitive dwarven turrets, and alchemical bombs are so much cooler than anything iver ever seen in the other overhauls. Ordinators focus on physical, tangible perks rather than just stat adjustments is what sells it for me.

Perk overhauls do not modify combat behaviour.
You need a combat overhaul mod for that.

If you want more realistic and intense combat, get Wildcat. It makes melee combat more intense although it doesnt tread in to "one hit KO for you" if you get hit. It biggest changes are that all weapons stagger and there is locational damage.

So whacking at someone's arm will disarm them, attacking their feet will knock them off their feet. Hitting the spine will remove half of the health. Attacks from behind do even more bonus damage. It goes well with Ordinator.

Though Wildcat makes ranged combat abit harder because your bow draw will be staggered and you will have to draw again which is a problem on its own if you are fighting another archer who keeps you from attacking him.
