Using HDT-SMP for the first time ( 2 Quick Questions)
Everything is going well, and wow I can't believe I didn't install this sooner! Quick Questions for further insight:

1. In bodyslide, lets say you install an amour and you get the the choice for "Physics" and SMP. I chose SMP, but what would only selecting the physics do? Does that imply that I won't use HDT and utilizes CPBC instead?

2. Clothing accessories like gauntlets and helmets are an option, but is there any reason to build static items?

Thanks!

1. The special feature of SMP is that it supports custom physics scripts written in a file attached to a mesh. Such scripts allow adding rules for things like flowing hair, cloaks, skirts etc. CBPC can read any mesh made for SMP and use the default physics of it, but it doesn't understand that it has an attached script and those rules won't get used.

Most mods using SMP won't provide an alternate "physics" version, but if they do, they probably did something to the parts intended as flowing to make them look better even without SMP. If you're using SMP, go ahead and build the SMP mesh. If you're just using CBPC, you probably want to build the physics version, but building the SMP version won't break anything. Some parts may just be static, depending on how the physics weighing is done on the mesh.

2. Gauntlets and helmets almost never have physics features, but you still want to build them in Bodyslide to match your built body shape. Limb dimensions etc. may vary, so unless you build gauntlets and helmets too, you may get seams and/or clipping.
