How to make transition between grass and landscape more seamless?
Title, here is a screenshot that shows what I am talking about: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1811598796

As you can see, the grass ends abruptly, and completely takes me out of the immersionand that is with max grass distance. How can I make the transition more seamless? Or perhaps just have nearly infinite grass view distance, but transition to much lower resolution (and lower density) grass after a certain distance.

I thought DynoLOD only helped with stuff that was modded in? And didn't affect grass at all?

Also, do you have a tutorial for DynoLOD? I would like to run it, but I haven't found a good tutorial on how to do it.

im not quite the one to ask as i dont have experience with it my self, but it runs a texture generation on everything, base game and mods, if im not mistaken. hopefully someone else can help you there. the only other option would be setting grass draw to obscene distances as far as i am aware, or pairing dyndolod with modded grass.

The only way to fix that is to try and find a grass mod where the color closely matches that of the terrain. And there are some that come pretty darn close (in my game, the transition line is barely noticeable).

A Lod mod might be enough (and much easier to use than DynoLoD). I use verdant together with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9135

LOL! Totally forgot that! That is the combination I use - highly recommended.

Good call, ZarahNeander!

Thanks, that looks really good, i'll definitely try it. Do you know whether it works for modded buildings?

And it doesn't look like it helps with the grass transition, thought the higher res landscape textures should definitely help some.

Veydosebrom (one of several good grass mods, I like this one)
I use the spring version 'cause I like the green look.

Plus:
Landscape Fixes For Grass Mods (including relevant patches)
DynDOLOD at mostly default settings (some are set to match my rig)
Skyrim Re-Engaged ENB

This was one of its biggest selling points according to the authors.
