Skryim: Blood dragon not letting me leave Sky Haven Temple
I've been trying for the last 3 days to leave sky haven temple, but every time I do I end up getting killed by a blood dragon. I'm pretty low level, level 8 orc, and when I leave the temple I get attacked by the Forsworn. If I try to run, the blood dragon kills me before I reach a cave or village, and if I stay I get attacked by the Forsworn (who don't seem to attack the dragon at all). I've tried to get the hagraven near by to attack it but it only does so much damage before turning to me. What should I do?

Have you tried sneaking out? Or sniping them from a far distance?

how did you manage to reach the "middle" of the main story line with that low level?

because you need alduins wall quest for entering that temple, and that quest is according to the wiki in the middle of the story > https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Main_Quest

I am going to assume you are on console and say berserker rage + Whirlwind sprint are your friends in this situation. After you get to a safer location stop doing the main quest and do some leveling first, you are under-leveled to be fighting forsworn and blood dragons. Join whichever guild fits your playstyle.

Indeed most of us are not even past Bleak falls Barrow at level 8. Get the distinct impression someone is messing with coc commands....

Ha, I'm doing a mini speed run, doing just the main quest line, no glitching, but still listening to the dialogue and collecting stuff to sell.

So I ended up killing the first dragon at level 2. Wasn't so bad. I had a follower though. The troll on the way to the greybeards was much deadlier than the dragon was.

Anyway, if playing for real it is hard to get through at lower levels. But some thigns to try:
- have your companion distract them (if you dont' have a companion, then oops, get one when you can).
- Use fast travel. If you must, go out the west door of Sky Haven Temple instead.

1. If you can get into god mode, do that. (although I doubt it's possible on PS4).
2. Load an earlier save and don't go there.
3. Start a new game and avoid making the same mistakes again.

Man, for a minute there I saw the topic and thought there was a Skyrim mod out there that was a homage to 80s action movies and it was bugging out on you

My experience is that sneaking probably won't help, it almost seems like dragons spawn already knowing if they are going to fight you or not.

Best bet is running and hoping the odds are in your favor and the dragon gets distracted by that hagraven long enough for you to get away. Spam every potion you have as you go
