Sanguine as a random ally?

So I've never seen this before. Was on a Dawnguard quest, and in the final boss room Sanguine was already there, fighting on my side. Not very effectively, btw, he was using some tiny dagger. At the end of it there was no dialogue option, just him sounding drunk and saying "I don't owe you money do I?"

Sounds like a random bug..... But he is the Daedric Prince of drunken revels, which presumably includes drunken brawls.

After finishing A Night To Remember, Sanguine tends to hand around in Morvunskar, in my experience. Is it possible you went back there?

That's where I've encountered him, too, killing off everybody in the throne room, albeit verrrrry slowly.

I've noticed him sitting at a table, in the local inn. Was considering using AFT to conscript him into my service.

Totally forgot that's where that quest culminates. Yep, that's where it was, mystery explained.

lol not a bad idea. I used the console to marry Lisette, but she loses all ability to sing, so I quickly used Guru's mod to divorce her. May settle for a drunk Daedric prince wandering around the place.
