HELP: Ultra Settings for Skyrim SE
Hey everyone! Just downloaded Skyrim SE for my new PC. Was wondering if anyone knew how to boost the quality. Obviously it all depends on my PC's specs so I'm just gonna leave them below.

EDIT: The first time I booted up Skyrim SE, it set itself to low quality

MY SPECS:
ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING AM4 AMD B450 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard

MSI GeForce RTX 2080 DirectX 12 RTX 2080 VENTUS 8G 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

CORSAIR CX Series CX650 650W ATX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

AMD RYZEN 7 2700X 8-Core 3.7 GHz (4.3 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 105W YD270XBGAFBOX Desktop Processor

WD Blue 3D NAND 500GB Internal SSD - SATA III 6Gb/s 2.5"/7mm Solid State Drive - WDS500G2B0A

WD 2TB My Passport Portable Hard Drive USB 3.0 Model WDBS4B0020BBL-WESN Blue

Any help is appreciated

Okay? Are you having issues running at ultra or are you asking if you can make the game look better? Because for the later you need mods.

First time I booted up it set Skyrim SE at low quality and I do plan to use mods later

maybe he just wants to flex his stuff?

anyway: im assuming you know how to max out sliders in the settings of the launcher, so im not gonna bore you with that

enhanced lights and fx is nice for, well better lighting (duh)
alot of people like to use enb for better gfx, i dont like it but maybe look into it and check for yourself, i guess it falls into personal preference
"improved mesh" or something like that improves the polygon count on many models in game

it sets skyrim to low because it does not recognize your gpu since its tooo new and thus bethesda didnt code in any suggested performance settings

my rx 580 is slower than yours and gets the same settings, yet has no issues if i bump them up either

at least its better than in age of mythology where microsoft had the brilliant foresight to force any gpu the game doesnt recognize to play at the lowest possible settings XD one can hack the better settings back in (if you can call that hacking, its really just renaming a file.....)

Flexing means nothing if one can't use their own muscle. >:]

Nope, no flexing here, i am completely new to all this and could use the help. Also considering you think I'm "flexing", i have to assume that my PC is A MONSTER and I've been ignorant of its power... Halp

its specs are pretty much overkill for anything released this year, so have fun in the following years you wont have to update too soon if you can stand turning down settings in a few years

So what settings?

Literally just max everything the launcher let's you max until you want to get mods. That's as good as sse gets for vanilla.
