so somewhere steam/the game stores this info (login, password). I thought it was in those ini files. maybe its somewhere else.
go to the bethesda.net web page and see if you can login to your account using the same account you use with skyrim se. if the bethesda net doesnt work, network problem somewhere. if it does work, looks like the steam skyrim se isnt logging in
warning - this will also clear ALL other steam web cache stored info. maybe someone knows how to delete just Bethesda skyrimm se cookies/data.
and look in the windows event viewer. if the game is crashing, there might be a crash event to help narrow the cause
