The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

Statistiche:
instantly can't connect to bethesda.net servers
Ok, I have been at this battle since the latest update, every time I get on Skyrim Special Edition, go into either Mods or Creation Club, I am instantly told "Can't connect to Bethesda.net servers" I have contacted Bethesda support but have gotten no where since they keep throwing me around to agent after agent like i'm so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rag doll and i'm sick of it. I know it's not my router, modem or internet in general since i just got it fix before the update, it's not my firewall, I have deleted and purged all the files for Skyrim then had everything reinstalled which hasn't helped one bit, i don't even have mods on. So if anyone can please help me out with this issue, it would be a great help of removing some stress out of my life.

How about getting your mods from Nexus?

That is what the normal modders do btw:P
delete (or rename) the two ini files in folder
Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition
run the game.

There is a mod there that isn't on Nexus, i looked and deleting and renaming the two ini flies didn't work
when I run skyrim se and click on cc or mods, there is a logging in notification on my screen.
so somewhere steam/the game stores this info (login, password). I thought it was in those ini files. maybe its somewhere else.

go to the bethesda.net web page and see if you can login to your account using the same account you use with skyrim se. if the bethesda net doesnt work, network problem somewhere. if it does work, looks like the steam skyrim se isnt logging in

just thought of something - login password stored in browser cookie. go to steam/settings/web browser then click the ‘Delete web browser cache’ button and delete all browser cookies. this should clear connection info to bethesda net. run game and go to cc or mods and you will probably have to login in to beth net again manually.

warning - this will also clear ALL other steam web cache stored info. maybe someone knows how to delete just Bethesda skyrimm se cookies/data.
I know some people have issues with the way the game handles internet connections, only thing I know of that fixes this is "SE Engine Fixes", but I don't know if that helps with Bethesda's website.
I tried deleting the cache and installing that mod but both of those didn't work. Man why can't Bethesda fix their games
were you prompted to enter your bethesda login/password?
yes, though that did nothing cause it said even before entering my login "Can't connect to Bethesda.net Servers"
if you dont have it, download the bethnet launcher. see if you can connect using the same account you use in steam/skyrim se.

and look in the windows event viewer. if the game is crashing, there might be a crash event to help narrow the cause

Did you ever find a fix? I am having the same issue.

Nope and I even contacted bethesda and they said it was my fault but I went back to a old version and it's on them as it works with the old version
I was hoping an update would fix it but that doesn't seem likely. I will have to try that most likely.
Same issue, multiple alt-f4's and restarts
sorts it
what is alt+F4 supposed to do cause it did nothing for me?
