how much storage space does this game take up?
on the store it says the game takes up 12 GB, but i often hear about the game regularly getting updates to the creation club which increase the size of the game. is the number on the store accurate? is there anyway to delete the creation club, to decrease the size?

Depends on the platform, consoles generally download the content and expect you to pay for it as some sort of unlock. On PC however, they do not download the data and updates are to the game's execute. Meaning a few megabytes at most but nothing drastic. There are ways to remove creation club via Nexus mods.

Mine says 13GB, last updated about a year ago.

I don't know if you can delete it entirely but it's easy to keep it from updating. Get SKSE (Skyrim SE script extender), install it, then run the game from it. Set Skyrim to only update when it launches and it will never update.

My base installation is 12.9 and my install folder is 18. Probably the dlc or something like that.
