Letter from Falk Firebeard Problems
I have the letter (which I don't ever remember getting from the Courier and it will not let me talk to him. Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm generally not a fan of using the console but if loading a previous save or traveling to a totally different hold then returning to the Blue Palace to try the dialogue again both fail, then you can try advancing the quest to its first stage where Falk instructs you to visit Styrr in the Hall of the Dead.

Open the console and type
setstage MS06 50

Main thing is did you read it? sometimes you have to read it in order to trigger the quest appearing in your journal. EDIT: To double check, this is hearthfire for falkreath right? or am i confusing it.

I don't think so. Falk is the Steward to Elesif in Solitude and afaik the only message he sends by courier is after The Man Who Cried Wolf to start the related quest Wolf Queen Awakened.

If you have finished the Wolfskull Cave thing, talk to Falk and look through the dialog options to find one that mentions the letter.

Ah k. Then i'm not entirely sure on it because i haven't done the quest after the cave.
I finished The Man Who Cried Wolf and read the letter but the quest Wolf Queen Awakened will not start. When you talk to Falk he does not mention the Wolf Queen Awakened.
