amulet of detect life

Does any one know the amulet that detects life? I had it in an earlier game but I can't remember the name. I used to put it on and take it off all the time. I mean I used it quite often. I remember I even looked it up to see where I got it but in my new game I'd like to go find it again but googling it only takes me to posts that say there's no such animal. I'm positive it wasn't a mod because I know I looked it up and found out where to get it. It's just been awhile since my last play thru and it's slipped my mind. Thanks in advance!

This effect is not available from enchantments or potions. The only sources of this effect are the spell and scroll of the same name.

Yeah I got it, that's all I find too BUT I did have one and I DID find info on it online, name location etc. I got the name from my game inventory and I have looked online and I can find none of the info I found before. The reason I know this is that a tuber I watch does Skyrim let's plays but tends to skip things that he feels are OP and I was wondering whether he would skip this specific necklace/amulet. I couldn't remember where I had got it, so I did a search for it online and with little effort, found out where and how I got it. I have looked thru my mod history on nexus and can find nothing that would have it.
So let's say it WAS a mod which I guess it's possible but how come I can't find any references to it anymore like I did the first time? I jus can't remember the name of the amulet lol it's been over a year. But thanks for your time

It requires scripting to get around how the engine handles the spell and make it run continously and update itself as you move. It was a mod, without a doubt.

That's a ring, couldn't find an amulet, may have been part of a magic (items) overhaul or something.

I believe there is one with "More Interesting Loot for Skyrim" but that mod has not been ported to SSE. Maybe "More Interesting Loot Reborn" for SSE gives you one.

Yeah I dunno but I know it was a necklace/amulet. Can't find it in any of the mods I used. And you can say "mod without a doubt" and that may be true but why can I no longer find the info I found a year ago by googling it? Anyway stay tuned, it may have been on old Skyrim, I will check my game saves there.

I found a mod for oldrim for which the nexus page was dead. The same, or this very mod, may have been the one you used, and because the page is dead, it no longer shows up in Google.

As for it certainly being mod, a different tack: if it wasn't, it be on the wiki/uesp. People dive straight into the game files to populate that data, so if it exist in the game, it's located there.

never modded oldrim, but still where did the info go that I looked up before? of course, I had the name of the amulet back then and was just trying to find out where I had picked it up so it was a little more specific google search than now. And I may have looked it up and SAW that it was a mod and thought " oh, well he wont be using that" but still I oughta be able to find it. Problem is I can't load up the old save to find it cuz it's corrupt,

I just looked at my steam history and I bought SSE in march 2018 and I think this all went on before that so that would make it oldrim on my x360. so ima look thru all those saves.

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I remember finding this amulet when the game first came out on XBox 360/PS3. I played on XBox, and found this amulet. It definitely existed in vanilla Skyrim, I can only assume Bethesda removed the item fairly early on.

It never existed, otherwise there would be documentation of it somewhere.

In fact if you google search, "amulet of detect life skyrim" THIS FORUM IS THE FIRST HIT

Amulet of detect life existed in Oblivion but has never existed in Skyrim.....EVER.
