Dude, how do I complete the quest?

setstage Favor154 15 and 20 don't seem to do a damn thing.

Isn't it "Bandit Leader"? Anyway, you don't say what your problem is with the quest. Seems pretty straight forward.

Inside the instance, at the beginning of the map down the ramp, there is an arrow for said leader yet no spawn. The 'setstage' is a console command attempting to advance or complete the quest yet it is not applying.

Sounds like your game is screwed up. Best bet is to load a save before the Jarl gives you the quest.

Knifepoint Ridge? One SW of Falkreath? Or are you in that cave near Darkwater Crossing (Lost Knife Hideout)?

Yes, in the Falkreath region.

If the quest for boethia is active you can not complete it. YOu have to wait 30 ingame days or something silly like that for him to be there.

Also if you cleared the location before the quest that may be the case.

Just wait thirty days (in game days) and everything should respawn.

Just wait somewhere outside the falkreath area, like solitude.

Its a simple quest, done it many a time without hiccups, good reason to save outside before you go into the mine, then if you have any issues, reload the save, occasionally stuff like this happens.

I presume its just one of the "looking for work" quests you get from the tavern in Falkreath ?.

probably from the jarl himself as a favor after reading the letter. I mean I cleared that camp out myself several times as a favor quest.

It's from the Jarl. I'll try 30 days but from my research he won't spawn. Bugged because I did boethia's quest in the mines first, apparently.

Did it a couple times after the 'cleared' disappeared. It seemed real soon, though.

Well i guess you have the option of waiting or going back to a previous save and maybe doing the Jarl's quest first to kill the bandit leader at Knifepoint Ridge.

Personally i'm really pedantic about this sort of stuff and have known myself to go right back 10 saves or so and restarting so i don't have these issues.

I'm the same but also I would have lost track of what I've done since then, not to mention I have leveled at least 15-20 times. Eeeeek.

Was mostly hoping someone knew some console commands to reset or complete it. I'll let you all know after the 30 days.
