Freeze Ctd´s near High hrothgar

[IkiS1000]

Every time i walk the path to high hrothgar my game gets ctd. Game freezes and then becomes unresponsive. i can see my "mouse loading spinner" when the game is loading. Im using mods and im using mod organizer 2 and i tested game on vanilla and then there wasnt any ctd. I think my loadorder is messed up some way. Help would be much appreciated!

I personally use Vortex as my mod manager but have you got LOOT installed and if so have you run it to check for conflicts?

You have a lot of mods/plugins there. If it wasn't crashing on vanilla (as you say) then it's clearly a mod issue. Best bet is to install a few at a time. What's Majestic Mountains? As your crash is happening near High Hrothgrar, test the game without that mod added perhaps? (Also that mod you have "STR-High Hrothgar")

Majestic mountains makes mountais and rocks look good. and yeah i have sorted it with loot. have to try run check for conflicts. i tried to disable majestic mountains earlier but the issue still stands.

It does exactly what you seem to need - Load Order Optimization Tool", and also checks for conflicts. You can download it from Nexus. Also did you see my edit on my previous post re "STR-High Hrothgar"?

Hahah. Its okay. What i meant to say i understood that it gots some feature to ""check for mod conflicts" to run, but did you meant the messages it gives ? I don't have error messages exept for NAT and True Storm not compantible together without patch, and i have already that patch, but its merged into a Bashed Patch from Wrye Bash (lots of bashes there) and thus Loot thinks that i don't have patch installed so i haven't payed much attention for this error warning.

Hmmm. if it's any consolation I googled "crashing High Hrothgar" and other people reported similar CTD's. One person said they solved it by uninstalling Immersive Patrols (although I don't think you use that mod glancing at your list). I know it sounds odd but I was actually experiencing a few unexplained crashes when I briefly installed that "Engine Fixes" mod. After disabling it all seemed ok again. My game runs fairly smoothly with just the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition patch.

What's that UHDAP plugin mod you use by the way?

Man Those Borders? Could that be the culprit? lol Immersive Armors? I read that the latter mod can be buggy.

It may be. also i haven't cleaned my plugins im about to start now.. UHDAP is Unofficial High Definition Audio Project mod. It replaces your all vanilla audiofiles with high quality (i was following Nordic Skyrim modding guide with this order but i didnt want/need all the mods that are listed there so i started over. plus i have immersive sounds so i dont probalby even need that.. i should delete it. yeah people have reported that engine fixes can cause trouble but my some mods require it (i dont remember whitch ones though :D ) perhaps i should start removing those and see if the issue goes away.

Okay now this is weird. i disabled all plugins and it still crashed. But when i tried vanilla it was all okay. Is it possible to retexture to cause this ?

When you disabled the mods, did you test on a new game, or a save made before any mods had been installed - because, due to the way Skyrim bakes data into the save, you CANNOT remove the vast majority of mods and continue on the same save.

Skyrim Flora Overhaul was cause of the ctd. For some reason game breaks now with every mod that adds more flora, grass etc. have to play with out them i guess. Thanks for everyone for trying to help!
