Thieves Guild Recommended Level? Also what are some good thief mods?
I have mods that that make the leveled rewards all the same so I don't need to be level 32 or anything. I just want to know if I should start right away at level 1 or wait a bit till I'm a higher level?

I guess its more or less how much do you want to get out of the game. If you just want to run through then a level 1 character could. Conversely if you wanted to do everything and get everything you COULD use a lvl 1 but you're probably going to have to supplement it with potions, enchantments and spells. Getting caught thieving would turn a thief character into a member of the Brotherhood just to finish the mission.

True, as I'm going for a thief character this time around I definitely want to get the most out of the guild so I'll probably wait a few levels till I start master thieving. Thanks for the advise!

Thieves guild quests start out as aimed at low level players, but you want to be around high twenties low thirties for the end ones.

I definitely do not want to be facing some of the enemies you encounter along the way at level 10. But it's really down to you.

Im not sure but IIRC enemies are levelled.

So youre gonna face enemies proper for you level. So if you play unmodded, any level can be recommended.

On the quests themselves, yes.

But some quests have a minimum level, and some areas have enemies that are at a minimum level. And to do at least one of the guild quests, you have to another quest for someone else, just to gain access to the right area.. And several places you want to be above a certain level (and wearing decent enough armour) to survive the mobs around those areas.

Which is why I said you want to be in your high twenties or higher for those quests.

Ok, so from what I'm hearing I think I'll probably start around level 10 and work up till the end until I'm around 20. Thanks for all your help!

Also off topic, but does anyone know any good thieving mods? Stuff like more treasuries, places to rob, ect. Trying to find stuff to make my first thief play through more interesting

If you want one swort which is astetical one of the better in the game (and thx too its cold and disable high lv enchant very usefull too including that if you are high enough that it has the same basic dmg than a dragonbone swort) if you do not use exploits it is definetivly the best wapon you will find (with crafting you may get stronger enchants, but this swort look much better as it look like a more ice like variant of the glass swort, and it has a very low energie drain for it enchant).
You need at least 32lv to get the best version. And it is the secound last quest were you can found it.

My advice, join them ASAP. Do the first two main quests in their line so you get “formal” membership. After received Thieves Guild Armor, go to Solstheim then finish a minor quest for the blacksmith, you will gain access to a full set of Blackguard‘s Armor (and a treasure room RESPAWN every 10 days). The Blackguard's hood get a rare 25% better price enchantment which can make you rich in no time, the sooner you get it, the better.
If you have the time, you can proceed a little further into their quest line by doing two more main Thieves Guild quests, both require quite a bit stealth/combat however, then you get a fence right outside Whiterun.
