No Vampires
So I decided to start playing SkyrimSE again. I have the same mods I ran before. For some reason I am not seeing any vampires. I did get the Orc to show up and invite me to join the Dawnguard but it is unusual for me to be level 10 and I haven't seen the first vampire. When I played before they were infecting me at level 3 and up. I don't think my mods are in the wrong order. Matches what I ran before:

Thanks for any help! :)

An update changed it so Vampires no longer attack.

Random Vampire attacks got patched out ages ago, so unless yo go to a location that has a vampire, you are unlikely to get infected.

Seriously? Wow that is crazy. So random vampires no longer spawn at known spawn points for NPCs in the wild? Last time I played was November of last year. The patch makes no sense to take out random vampire attacks. :(

I saw where they took out the town attacks but I can't find anything about random "in the wild" attacks where you will see a couple standing around by a road. Why have Dawnguard if there are no more random NPC vampires in the wild? Ugh.....

I should have said no towns, they still spawn in the wild. Though they seemed to have raised the level limit and rarity, I didn't see any at lower levels and even when I was high level didn't see very many.

I don't mind no attacks on the towns. It was a pain to keep all the storekeepers alive. Just wish I could see some out in my travels to get infected. All I see are the old orc wanting a good death and the three drunks. Not much of a variety for sure.

Well if you goal is to get infected there are a few designated vampire lairs/caves you can go to. The one I usually use is Broken Fang Cave, north-west of Sleeping Tree Camp.
