Ancient Dragon Charges at you, picks you up and kills you instantly.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Ancient Dragon charges at you, picks you up and you are dead. Even Become Ethereal Shout doesn't work. Help.

I have Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch and USSEP Necromage Fix Installed. None of my other mods are related to enemies at all.

Yup, it can happen with any dragon if you get too close to its front.

Yeah, they can grab you in their jaws and toss you about like a ragdoll.
It's a killcam move for them as they finish you off, except if they are stronger than you it can happen while you have most of your health intact.

Did the people answering bother to actually watch the video?

He wasn’t too close and the dragon didn’t do the mouth toss. It swooped down from a distance, grabbed the player in its claws and tossed him.

Personally never seen that one.

Do you have mods installed? Is one of them Violens? (I don't know if that's causing it, but I would not be surprised, some of the stuff they have enabled or added is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool).

Err, no I haven't seen that being done at Helgen, usually trying to get it over with as quickly as possible.

Just as you pass Tulius Look to the keep Interior Walls. Pretty sure that's when It happens before you meet Stormcloak guy while running with Imperial Guy (I cannot remember their names for the life of me as I haven't done a helgen start for years (Real Life Years) and haven't done the Civil War in longer.

Ya wish it was made more common if people still don't know of it then it proof it far to rare. But I wish a lot of things about the really pathetic dragons of Skyrim even the mods of them can only do so much it seems.

The same thing happens to the guard that stands out side when you are trying to capture Odahviing in Whiterun. Always felt bad for the guard, but it seems like it's an instance that is set up. I can't say I've had it done to me, but maybe since the Ancient dragon is a much higher level it probably instantly kills you. I got insta-chomped before but that was when I started the game off legendary mode and fought the first dragon of the game lol.

If you watch Alduin killing imperial soldiers you see him grab one an let him fall. But do not wait to long, ore he even attack you in this scene. So if i seen someone get grabed yes, myself no not yet.

only in endgame. they kill you seconds in the beginning on master without prep
