Monarch Butterfly Wing Not Recognized

I'm playing Skyrim SE on PC. I have minimal mods running, none that should affect gameplay/lore.

I am capturing Monarch Butterflies and see their name before capture. Yet in my inventory, I can't find them. I have a purchased recipe (Blisterwort + Monarch Wing) that specifies a Monarch wing. I can't do the recipe.

use LOOT and post your load order and the immersion scientists will be with you shortly

In vanilla, it is just called butterfly wing, so you must have a mod that changes the name of the ingredient, so that it is not being recognized by the game. Find that mod, and you've found the culprit.

If you know how to use xEdit, you can edit the record to correct the issue.

Thanks all for the replies. I'll check how to use xEdit. Not sure how to use "LOOT" though.

loot pretty easy just hit the 3 straight lines and give it a min to sort your load order, then hit the 3 verticle dot then copy load order then right click on the reply box+paste and boom instant load order
