RS Children Clothing Bug

I bought my daughters two dresses and when it to them they would appear naked instead. I'm assuming it may be caused by RS Children. Any way to fix this?

Hmm... You're sure that you bought dresses that are made for children, right? I mean, if you have given them dresses for grown up women, they will appear naked in the game instead of wearing it. Maybe that's the issue? :D

Mhm sure. Tell that to Chris Hansen, he's heard that one before.

I have seen this before actually, and it was on console. You can use a console command on PC. It's not a guarantee to keep them clothed. Open the console command screen, click on the targeted NPC, and type:

equipitem <ItemID> <#>

A girl's blue dress is - xx00d81e (I believe 03 is Hearthfires DLC). For the <#> just add a "1".

As I can tell so far its only the yellow dress that has the issue. Sadly the command didn't fix this. I believe it may be an issue with the meshes. But thanks for an actual serious response tho.

Did the child NPC equip the dress, or did it say "missing parameter Object ID..." when entering the command? If after entering the command it listed an error, the xx indicating DLC number may be wrong. (Dawnguard 02, Hearthfire 03, Dragonborn 04).

I had this problem, and spent a few hours running around skyrim making sure that all kids had visible clothing before the FBI knocked on my door. There is one girls and one boys outfit the is invisible, I have no idea what cased it. All other kids clothes are ok
