has any modder ever made character presets based on real life celebreties?
hello

with some of the insane nice looking character preset mods that are available on Nexus, it's surprising that i have yet to find a popular character preset that's based on real life celebrity, such as Emma Watson, or Brad Pete or some other famous people like Stalin or Hitler.

It would be nice if some modder could create those! or if anyone over here know these presets existed, please share.

Only one I have seen is the face of Todd Howard replacing the normal moon. Although I have not been looking either. Just happen to run across it.

There are a number of things working against this sort of thing. Actors have reputation and licensing enforcement people working to stop this sort of thing. Hosting sites have policies against various things, like Bethesda has a policy against real-world religious content (no Jesus or Mohammad in a mod etc). Then there are other policies that would probably stop things from being hosted on various sites. The laws in the EU have also gotten even more strict recently about putting things from some other franchise in a game, even in player-created mods.

Also it's goofy joke stuff that doesn't fit with the game world and there's a limited amount of that people are willing to create.

Theres Talon Blackblood from the outpost series (havent heard of it myself. The character is played by Jessica Green If you know who she is. Did an relatively good job to in my opinion. The character preset looks like the picture of Jessica Green provided in the screenshots.

Theres also a character preset made to look like Kaela Sinclair who was the keyboardist and vocalist for the band M83. Also did a reasonably good job. The character looks like Kaela Sinclair.

Ofcourse theres a character preset of Ser Jaime Lannister of Got. Thhis one i wouldnt say did a good job as it only slightly resembles the actor.

also one of John Snow this one did a better job then the lannister one.

and ofcourse Daenerys did an ok job not great. somewhat resembles the actoress forgot her actual name.

Theres minicut2234s lagertha ece preset which is based off of Lagertha from the series Vikings. Not really a good job on this one either.

Theres also character presets for well adult films......actresses. 4 of them on nexus that i saw.

And that completes all the character presets that outright designed from a picture of the celebrity or a character in a series thats played by the celebrity so it looks like them anyhow.

Atleast under the character preset mod section in skyrim se on nexus.

You may be able to find more by googling as nexus isnt the only place mods are uploaded. Just the most popular.

Note i dont know all the actors actess names so for example the actor who played john snow so I just said John snow.

You can save them as such.

P.S. Before you ask how.

Extensive follower framework had a plugin in oldrim that worked with racemenu that also allowed this.

interesting, but how about dead celebrities, like Stalin, Napolean, Queen Victoria II, or Alexandra the Great, or Chairman Mao, or JFK how about the dead one, who basically cannot launch a law sue against a mod creator.

These people still have family especially the Kennedy's they could still sue beyond the grave.

Nope but he'll hack the site that uploads his likeness, ask Sony.

Yea but that's on Nexus mods. Bethesda is just saying they won't host it on bethesda.net. Nexus can set its own policy which I'm sure includes way more stuff than bethesda since bethesda is going to be more worried about bad PR and ESRB and stuff like that. They have a bigger business to run.

Kind of silly but simply allowing mods at all seems to raise a game rating from T for Teen to M for Mature simply because someone *could* download naked mods or something. Doesn't even matter what the publisher restricts on their official site.... Just allowing mods at all seems to do it.

As for non-religious historical figures, I'm guessing some like Hitler or Stalin might get refused on some hosts for theoretically being hateful or political or something but I don't know if Nexus cares. Probably would depend on what they're saying or doing in the game.

Like Deser said some more recently deceased people might have family that would threaten to sue or do whatever. I'm guessing people from so long ago that nobody cares, like Napoleon, nobody would care about.

The main extreme thing I know of is Disney forcing KoBra MUD to shut down because of Star Wars content (which is really dumb because it was a free text-only game and not competition for anything).

It's hard to do accurate presets in Skyrims creator with Racemenu. Faces are a bit too cartoony to make lifelike preset that give you an uncanny likeness.

Fallout 4 is much better for celebrity presets and plenty exist out there thanks to Fallout 4 shipping with a detailed character creator.
