Is there a mod that allows children to age?
I was playing my game and adopted my first child and then afterward I though "It would be cool if I could raise my child in skyrim to fight along side me" and so i googled if children grow in skyrim SE and apperantly they dont naturally do this in the game so i was wondering is there a mod that does this?

How quickly do you think people age!?!? Someone needs to make an Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade chalice mod that causes rapid ageing or maybe a Progeria mod.

From 5 years old to 33 in one year.

A Zoltar Speaks mod that turns you into Tom Hanks from the movie Big.

I too have thought this would be cool. But it would be so slow you'd barely notice since you probably barely play a year in one game. I don't think it would be too difficult to managed. Just make it so each month children grow by like 1%. Then set an "If" statement that if they reach X height their children model is disabled and they now use a young adult model.

Probably can make Sassy Teen Girls as a requirement for the "Young Teenager" model for girls or something like that.

If I knew how how to use Creation Kit better I could probably throw something very primitive together.

From what I have found there was a mod or mod pack that actually accomplished not only aging the children but also aging the player called "Growing Up" in the nexus mod manager for the original skyrim. However this mod/modpack has either been discontinued or hasn't been ported over yet.

You might find something at the ole LL. I know they have fertility/pregnancy mods, along with mods that allow NPCs (maybe the MC too) to give birth and then have those babies grow up to be children. Not sure if they have taken that further for full birth -> adult though.

website is - l o v e r s l a b. Think Steam still censors it, but Google it and you will find it easily. Be warned though. It's extremely NSFW, and very fetishy. You'll have to make a free account to dl stuff from there if you find something you like.

The mod idea doesn't fit the time that actually passes in-game, so it makes no sense. What me and SMIFFY were discussing is a lot more realistic. Hell, even a spell or artifact that ages children and adults instantly is more realistic. Let's not forget the fact that every child in Skyrim has the same ugly face. So the mod would even require RSChildren.

Honestly an aging spell does seem like a better idea since it would be able to comlete the request I have and also it would be fun to mess around with where one minute your fighting a young nord warrior and the next your fighting a gagly old nord who can barely hold a sword. however I can imagine programing a spell such as this to be ten times harder since it needs to be equipable and much more. And in terms of a realistic persona, your talking about a video game where dragons and half humans and other crazy stuff runs wild and your worried about children growing up fast than a year breaking your imerrsion? i just thought it be a cool idea to have your own child in the game as a companion and i honeslty dont see whats so wrong with it either because if you think about it the way things are going now it might be years before the war between either side comes to an end. To be technicall according to anceint documents historians have dug up, some of the ancient wars supposedly lasted for hundreds of years.

Nope... it would be a lot easier. Half humans do exist, as well as dragons and Argonians.

How is a spell that ages children and adults instantly more realistic?

Well think about the world they inhabit just for a second.

I meant it would fit the game better than a child aging to a full grown adult in months or year. Is it that hard to comprehend? The game has magick spells where anything goes. I didn't actually mean realistic compared to reality, wrong choice of word.
