how the hell do i shout in skyrim?
everywhere it says z but thats a lie because it doesnt work.

Did you hit Tab and go to Magic then Shouts and pick a shout? If none is selected it won't work. You also need to have absorbed a shout from a word wall and have a dragon soul to open it for Z to work.

Lol....I always liked shouting people off the tops of mountains, then it happened to me.......felt like a lesson learned in an after-school special....for those of you old enough to remember them.

Note that you need to hold the shout button down, not simply press it. As you learn more words for each shout, you'll also need to hold it longer for stronger effects.

The real question I have for the OP is how do you complete "The Way of the Voice" without shouting? You have the achievement, so maybe theres more than one lie here.

Did you change the keybind in the settings? For some stupid reason Skyrim's UI displays the default keys, even if they are rebound.
