Yeah. Use swords, sneak around and kill people. What kind of details are you actually looking for? Skyrim isn't a very deep game in the character building aspects.

It's a very natural build. Light armor, sneak, light weapons (steel) and a dagger (for sneak kills). Archery is a good secondary weapon skill. I use a sword and an axe, keep the lightest weapon in your strong hand for maximum speed when you use dual flurry.

Investing in alchemy pays of for invisibility and paralyze potions. Enchanting for lot's of useful stuff.

I've never seen a point of dual wielding. You can't block, and it doesn't help your DPS in the slightest.

It does. A dual attack can do massive damage especially with the dual flurry perks.

Lol,that's like not only the easiest build to make, but what a vast majority of playthroughs can gravitate towards without proactively forcing yourself to use different armor/weapons/spells

Just grab two daggers,a bow, and some light armor. Upgrade Sneak,Archery,1Hand,and Light armor then join the Thieves Guild/Dark Brotherhood and boom, classic assassin build.

I love how true this is. "Builds" are more about avoiding leveling certain skills you don't intend to rely on to keep your character level low, to make the game harder, or to roleplay.

It does actually. Also the dual wielding perks are the only way other than enchanting to give a boost to your unarmed damage.

This game is not rocket science.

Sneak
One-handed Swords

Done.

OK, a LITTLE more in depth. You probably want to switch out swords for daggers if you plan to use Sneak at all. You want the perk to multiply dagger damage by 15, which is in Sneak and breaks the game in half. You want to maximize the basic damage perk for 1 handed weapons, and get both dual wielding perks, and that's pretty much it for one handed perks. You want most of the Sneak perks and Sneak is generally pretty high priority for perk points.

Go with light armor unless you want to seriously challenge yourself with mage armor, which isn't really recommended as it doesn't help much with this playstyle and good light armor is easy to get. Early on you might want the Thieves Guild armor, but you'll probably want to switch to Dark Brotherhood armor for the backstab bonus. That's pretty much it. The game really doesn't give you a whole lot of incentive to upgrade your armor in this playstyle because you can't enchant better backstab multiplayers or really any of the Dark Brotherhood or Thieves Guild armor bonuses. If you must get a brawling armor set, you are going to want to level smithing and enchanting. For the former, pick the perks along the light armor path (Elven armor), and for the latter max the enchantment bonus and eventually work your way up to get double enchant. Earlier on smithing is a little more important to take perks for since enchanting doesn't shine till you get it to like level 50.

For light armor you just want the first perk maxed and the matching set bonus. That's probably it. Light armor tree is pretty awful. Maybe pick up the perk that makes it weightless when worn. Really armor perks aren't that important. On higher difficulties almost everything is going to kill you in 2-3 hits regardless of your armor perks, and on lower difficultys you are basically god so it doesn't matter. Especially with this playstyle since even cranking the difficulty slider all the way up won't stop an enemy from dying in 2 hits from a backstab and if you raised sneak properly you'll be able to clear whole rooms without even being seen.

If you are a masochist, you can skip light armor and go into alteration to get mage armor to get doubled values from spells like Oakflesh. In this case I'd seriously recommend summoning astronachs or raising the dead or something to draw aggro as you can't even hit the armor cap doing this. You also won't find a whole lot of clothing that comes with enchants that help this playstyle (mostly mage robes), so you'll have to enchant something to boost one handed damage or sneak or something. On the plus side all non-armor clothing is pretty much just an aethetic choice, so you can deck your character out in whatever you want.
