Requirements: CBP Physics versus CBPC Physics
With a brand new install, I'm going to give animation a try this time around. I don't have any body replacer mods installed yet. As a preliminary to installing XPMSSE, I have FNIS and Race Menu installed. I'm using Vortex

The requirements listed for CBPC are only XPMSSE and FNIS.

The requirements listed for CBP are XPMSSE, FNIS, Body Slide And Outfit Studio, and CBBE

Why is there a difference in the requirements? For installing CBP, are Body Slide and CBBE really required? Or was the author implying that in order to use CBP after it is installed, that Body Slide and CBBE should then be installed?

CPB physics relies on breast weights that are only on the CBBE physics body. If you want the outfits to have physics as well then you need the outfits to have those same weights applied to them. Bodyslide comes with vanilla outfits with these weights applied to them and the outfits are for CBBE.

So basically yes, you still need both. Both cbp and cbpc function the same way. Mod author probably just forgot to add it to requirements.

Wow, thanks for that info. Is the order in which I install cbp (or cbpc) and CBBE and Body Slide important?

CPB physics are not just for CBBE, it can be use with any body replacer - from description page:
"Requires a body replacer with bone weights for Breast/Butt/Belly, CBBE Physics body only has weights for Breast and Butt, so you won't get any belly bounce."
For example, you can use it with UNP Female Body Renewal (which I use in my game) - and it does not require Bodyslide.

CBPC just has collision added to it (so it moves if something hits it).

You would use one or the other, CPB or CPBC, not both.

All this info is on the mods' description pages - which is why it is important to read everything.

smr1956, so if I went with UNP, then I'm thinking this is the order of the installs (would this be correct?):

1. XMP32 (select fake physics during the install)
2. TCM
3. UNP
4. CBP or CBPC (select TBBP mesh in the install)

and then a question...Do I need one of the Bounce By Animations mods? There are three of them listed under the main heading of Requirements for TBBP Version.

And then I should install UNP Body Fit Armors and Clothing?

And then the UUNP Vanilla Outfits Bodyslides SE?
smr1957 Oct 21, 2019 @ 7:36pm
1. TCM
2. UNP
3. CPB
4. XPMSSE and overwrite everything.

Then UNP armor and clothing - and I do not think you would need UUNP Bodyslide unless you selected the UUNP body.

In my build, first installed is UNP Female Body Renewal, then CPB, and last XPMSSE. i use the UNP armors and clothing, with no bodyslide.

As to the Bounce by Animations mods, I don't recall from when I installed it, as it was some time ago. If it says that it is required, just pick one.

Once you have it installed, test before you go any further as regards installing mods (which you should fo anyway after installing a group of mods).

Ooops, I just finished installing XPMSSE, then came back here and saw your message.

With the XPMSSE install, other than selecting Fake Physics, I went with the default selections, and NONE for the compatibility patches since I didn't have those mods installed.

So in the UNP install, there's a choice between UNP body and UUNP body?
Echobaby Oct 21, 2019 @ 7:59pm
In the compatibility section of the UNP install, it says to install TCM before UNP because UNP needs to overwrite everything (or maybe he meant to say that TCM needs to come before UNP in the load order?)

UUNP supports all UNP body types and requires Bodyslide.

Just go with the UNP - my philosophy is that Bodyslide is an unnecessary complication (in point of fact, I have never used it).

The real choice will be the size body you want - vanilla size, slim size, etc.

Ah, okay, I never used TCM, so if he says that, then that's the way to go. Am going to edit my post to reflect that.

Before I select one of the Bounce By Animation mods, I'm wondering what's the difference between Bounce By Physics and Bounce By Animation, and why a mod from both needs to be installed. Just for information's sake.

Here's a cut and paste from UNP's Faq list (it seems to imply that bounce is something different than physics and only one should be chosen...afterall, you can install xpm32, FNIS, and UNP only once):

Q: How do I get bounce?
A:
Installation steps for TBBP
1. Install XPMSE, tick fake physics rig map
2. Install FNIS (run FNIS with Skeleton Arm Fix)
3. Install bouncing animation
4. Install UNP body with TBBP
5. Install UNP armor/clothing with TBBP
6. Run FNIS again
7. Go in game and see

Installation steps for CBP Physics/CBP Physics with collisions
1. Install SKSE64
2. Install XPMSE, tick physics extensions rig map
3. Install FNIS (run FNIS with Skeleton Arm Fix)
4. Install CBP or CBPC
5. Install UNP body with TBBP
6. Install UNP armor/clothing with TBBP
7. Run FNIS again
8. Go in game and see

Installation steps for HDT-SMP Physics
1. Install SKSE64
2. Install XPMSE, tick physics extensions rig map
3. Install FNIS (run FNIS with Skeleton Arm Fix)
4. Install hdtSSEFramework
5. Install hdtSSEPhysics
6. Install UNP body with HDT-SMP
7. Install UNP armor/clothing with TBBP
8. Run FNIS again
9. Go in game and see

It looks like I should install cbp or cbpc before unp. I need to do more research on these 2 before I select one.
smr1957 Oct 21, 2019 @ 8:35pm
I don't recall from when I did my build, and don't want to answer with misinformation - I would have to see what it says and what the mod description and posts say. There should be an explanation in the options (should be, but maybe not).

Anyway, try what seems right according to the info on hand, and test. I need to log out now as my vision is literally seeing double (and that without a drink, LOL! And of course it doesn't help I'm doing this all on a phone). Good luck, and I'll check back tomorrow.
