Title screen / Main menu / selection screens cut off
I had played successfully with no issues until a couple days ago. Now when I load the game, at the main menu, everything is ... 'offset' ? the left half of the main menu screen (also any screen sele is cut off, and the skyrim insignia and main menu selections are on the left half of my screen and the right half is grey. Same when selecting anything from the main menu like mods screen, load or save gaem screen, etc.
Haven't changed any settings at all, (1920x1080) 16:9, and I do not have any mods. Also have the issue in bordered window mode.
I tried starting a new game and it does, however there's a large floating black box in the middle of the screen during the 'cart ride' that displays the title and intro text. After it shows "Skyrim" the box fades but is still present. Any info as to how to resolve would be appreciated. It's really weird. I did try some of the suggested bug fixes like deleting the prefs file. Verifying the game cache showed no issue, so I even deleted the whole thing and reinstalled it and nothing works.

It's definitely your resolution. By default, on nVidia cards at least, it will give you a "Dynamic Super Resolution", like 1920x1080. I recommend changing that setting in GeForce experience to 1280x720, 1280x768 or whatever your resolution actually is. Happens to me all the time. On AMD cards, you would do the same with GE.

AHA! Thanks! Started paying around with the NV control panel, and I was able to locate the issue. It was the 3d vision thing that got installed with the latest driver update. I always had it off before, but forgot to turn it off this time and presto, started working fine!

I am having this exact problem. My DSR is off, and I do not want to disable my 3D. Any help would be appreciated.

Found a workaround; I turned off 3D to load the game, while it was running I turned the 3D back on. Menu fixed, 3D good, problem solved.
